OCCO Visit with Ohio House Speaker Jason Stephens

Members of the Ohio Council of County Officials met for their May meeting on May 24th to discuss pending legislation, current issues of interest to county leaders, and review the success Legislative Reception. 

The OCCO also heard from former Lawrence County Commissioner and Auditor Jason Stephens, now Speaker of the Ohio House. Speaker Stephens outlined the Ohio House Budget which was recently passed and his spending priorities assisting local governments. We appreciate the partnership of Speaker Stephens with Ohio's County Governments.
