OCCO Meeting with Ohio Dept. of Development Director Mihalik

 

The Ohio Council of County Officials met for their January meeting virtually. Each Association presented a report on their legislative priorities and plans for 2022. OCCO will be holding our annual Legislative Reception on Wednesday, April 6th at 4pm. More details to follow soon. 

 

Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik spoke to those in attendance about the Department's work and also the largest economic investment project in Ohio's history with the announcement of Intel's planned Computer Chip factory to be built in Licking County. This $20 Billion investment into Ohio's economy will be just the start of this project's impact on all Ohioans.
